Technical Delivery Manager ( Post sale/ Pre sale )

They enable high-performance computing solutions, especially for Artificial Intelligence and machine learning jobs. The company is stable, small, and based in Chicago.
Role:
- The Delivery Manager will be involved in implementation, configuration, and interfacing with customers in a post-sale role.
- Delivery management, customer project management
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
- Pre-sales, sales technical support
- Responsible for leading customer engagements to achieve strategic business objectives and technology outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Computer Science OR Computer Engineering preferred
- Client relationship management skills, with executive presence
- 5 years preferably working in a technology / SaaS company that sold /built enterprise software
- Recent or past technical software development / implementation experience
- Understanding AI/ ML computing needs, Knowledge of Infrastructure as code ( IaC ) would be great. Knowledge/ understanding of data center - Storage/ Memory systems will be very useful
- Python and shell scripting or any technical expertise to help set up test environments
- Comparative testing; benchmark experience
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Manage customer expectations, delivery dates, sync external dependencies with internal timelines.
- Assist in pre-sales, ability to comfortably speak to the product technically but understandable to all audiences.
- Internally act as customer advocate
- Align engagement priorities with customer needs
- Assist in developing new use cases for 'software defined memory' across IT domains
- Multiple project capability
- Small organization experiences desirable.
- Develop benchmarking procedures to test software defined memory performance across various applications
The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($55-$ 65 hr). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, retirement and/or other benefits are available after a waiting period.
Salary : $55 - $65
