QA Tester - Local to Loveland, CO

Duration: 6 months contract

Location: hybrid onsite with 3 days per week in Loveland, CO

IT Automation is seeking a skilled QA Tester with strong automation expertise. Candidates with experience in the medical device industry or lab testing are highly preferred to ensure the highest quality standards in our software solutions. The selected candidate will work on a new development project, the team is newly forming and they require a combination of manual, automation and medical device testing.

Responsibilities:

• 75% of traditional manual and automation testing (application, UI and database testing of new products and active products)
• 25% working in conjunction with embedded development to test medical devices and analyzers
• Testing of software on physical hardware (required to be on-site at office in Loveland, CO 3 days/week)
• Working with life sciences, medical, compliance testing aspect
• "Verification and Validation” skillset - needs to show proof of passing requirements using test cases, document detailed test plans, execute tests and create a test execution summary report
• Hands on-testing working in Agile environment, be able to estimate work items and QA tasks
• Generate a Traceability Matrix, respond to Quality Assurance Plan and V&V reporting
• Testing the software on hardware devices (no electrical engineering exp required)

Tools:

ALM/Quality Center, Postman, Soap UI, Microsoft 365, Atlassian Jira, SharePoint

Minimum Qualifications:

• Most of it will be through desktop or web applications
• SOAPUI, Postman, etc
• Automation experience is a big plus
• A minimum of Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or similar field is required
