Qualifications
- GitLab Architecture experience is required
- CI / CD experience with multiple environments, not just production
- GitLab in production experience - REQUIRED
- Experience writing a pipeline and be able to discuss building a pipeline
- Be able to discuss the 12 factor application methods
- Must be familiar with Docker and know multi-stage Docker
- Demonstrate how to construct a Dockerfile
- Demonstrated experience of managing and deploying Java, Go, Python, YAML
- Demonstrated experience with linting and code quality

As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you are the highest level of technical subject matter expertise for our DevSecOps Platform, its infrastructure, components, and capabilities. It is expected that you can research, design, and implement the largest, most complex work efforts with minimal guidance. Sr. Engineers are expected to take on more complex projects and self-learn unknown technologies and tools, functioning at a higher level.
It is also expected that the Sr. DevOps Engineer understands and can operate in an Agile environment. As a Sr. Engineer, you are expected to take ownership over stories assigned to you, ensuring that all acceptance criteria are met and are accountable for the timely completion of those stories as committed to during sprint planning. Failure to meet these expectations puts an excessive burden on the rest of the team, as we fall behind on our team's commitments, forcing other engineers to work extra hours picking up the slack.
