In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, scientists, and product teams to build automated testing frameworks, implement CI/CD pipelines, and enhance software testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for biotech software applications.
- Write and execute test cases (automated and manual) to ensure software meets functional and performance requirements.
- Work closely with software engineers and product managers to understand requirements and create robust testing strategies.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working with developers to resolve them efficiently.
- Perform API testing, data validation, and UI testing for biotech applications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards as needed.
- Contribute to test plans, test reports, and other documentation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software testing, automation, or quality engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#).
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, PyTest).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Strong understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience working in regulated industries (biotech, healthcare, medical devices) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
