What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Analyst position at IT Cadre?
Our Business Development Analyst supports the Business Development team from initial introductions to customers all the way through project start. They are outgoing and engaging, interacting directly with current and potential customers, as well as leaders across the IT Cadre organization. The IT Cadre Business Development Analyst also creates, maintains, and distributes key business materials and have a keen eye for detail and presentation. Specific responsibilities for our Business Development Analyst include:
- Assist with the development of new business proposals, sales pitches, presentations, drafting responses, securing internal approvals, and liaising with other stakeholders.
- Collate and maintain accurate logs of account details, activities and contact information using CRM database.
- Follow-up on pre-qualified leads with the business development team to ensure they are processed timely and lead to pipeline creation.
- Attend events and/or trade shows as required. Managing onsite registration of company sponsored events and assisting with planning and execution. Document post exhibition activities and customer interactions in the CRM.
- Support strategic decision making by accurately documenting, filing and reporting BD statistics to the BD Director and leadership team.
- Support improving processes for collaboration across the proposal team to ensure fast, efficient and accurate proposal creation.
- Coordinate and confirm appointments for the Business Development team.
- Perform administrative support duties for the BD Director and BD team.
- This is an in-office position.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or education/experience equivalent.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with CRM databases and PC applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- High energy individual with a strong desire to achieve top results with a dependable, positive “can do” attitude over the phone and in person.
- Strong interpersonal skills, engaging effectively and positively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
- Excellent time management. Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
