Job Title: Project Manager - Billing System Implementation
Job Location: Remote (Occasionally travel to Tampa FL)
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Zone invoicing system, ensuring alignment with business and financial requirements.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring successful execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, IT, and external vendors, to drive project milestones.
- Oversee the migration from Zuora to Zone, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal business disruption.
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Establish best practices and document workflows for the new billing system.
- Provide ongoing project updates to key stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements throughout implementation.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager leading billing system implementations.
- Must have worked for a SaaS company, with knowledge of subscription billing models.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles related to invoicing and billing.
- Familiarity with Zuora and Zone (or similar billing platforms) is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.
