Position : Nutraceutical Vitamin Supplement Formulation Associate
Location : Long Island, NY
OVERVIEW
The Formulation Associate is primarily responsible to prepare finished product development quotes for customers and also with an ongoing customer support function with respect to product development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Researching and sourcing new ingredients.
- Obtaining pricing, documentation, ingredient samples from vendors.
- Working directly with customers to develop new formulas to their specifications.
- Typing the formal quotation for the customer, including compiling accompanying ingredient information and documentation.
- Working with the customer for any revisions or difficulties during the process.
- Compiling and providing support documentation for the customer, i.e. supplement facts panels, label & packaging approvals, allergen reports.
- Ongoing customer support as required.
- Maintain specification library and ingredient database for all raw materials.
