Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer with experience in the Airline domain to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET technologies, API development, and cloud platforms while working in a hybrid environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, and maintain airline-related applications, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications for the airline industry using .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
- Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with airline systems.
- Work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) to deploy, manage, and scale applications efficiently.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Implement microservices architecture and integrate applications with various third-party services.
- Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high system reliability.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- 8 Years of experience in .NET development with expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
- Strong experience with RESTful API development, Microservices, and SQL/NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience working in the Airline or Travel domain (e.g., booking systems, reservation platforms, flight management, ticketing systems, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud services (App Services, Functions, Containers, etc.).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js) is a plus.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform) is an added advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with airline reservation, ticketing, and loyalty program applications.
- Knowledge of IATA/NDC standards.
- Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) is a plus.
