OCM Principal Consultant
Location: Chicago IL hybrid
Duration: 6 Months

- Must be local and committed to work on-site in a hybrid schedule. Frequency of on-site work will depend on demands of the project.
- Targeting senior level OCM Change Management candidates with over 10 years of experience. Please target candidates with CCMP certification and long term engagements.
- Candidates who are former United or who have recent airline experience will be prioritized.
- The initiative is for Finance Transformation.
- Project Name: AP Security & Automation
- What is the length of the assignment? 6-8 months; extension is possible.
- Work Location(s): Chicago, Willis Tower, with a Hybrid schedule- the need to be in office will vary based on demand of project. Must be willing to come into office when needed.- with last minute notice. Due to this being hybrid, must be located remotely near Chicagoland area. Cannot be located in Houston.
- Will this person have to travel? Possible will be minimal travel - some meetings might be in Houston.
- Will the candidate(s) need to provide portfolios before interview or during interview? Yes. We would like to see communication plans as well as training examples. And anything else that would help us know more about their style and skillset.
- Be able to clearly and effectively communicate the need for change, both verbally and in writing, to all stakeholders
- Be capable of guiding stakeholders through the change process and motivating them to embrace new ways of working
- Align change initiatives with the organization’s overall strategy and objectives
- Be able to identify challenges quickly and develop practical solutions to facilitate the change process
- Manage and resolve disputes that may arise during periods of change
- Project Management skills - Planning, executing, and monitoring change initiatives to ensure successful outcomes
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)

- has worked independently with little guidance
- has developed formal training and communication plan for a large organization

- It will consist of 1-2 interviews.
- Experienced OCM Consultant responsible for developing and executing change management strategies to maximize adoption and usage of new vendor onboarding process.
- Includes plans and efforts to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors from employees and stakeholders who are impacted by the change.
- The OCM Consultant will be responsible for managing OCM, communication, and training.
- The practice will include the readiness/adoption plan, coaching plan, communication plan, and training plan.
- Assess the change impact by conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness and identifying key stakeholders.
- Design, develop, deliver and manage communications to employees and vendors.
- Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
- Collaborate with the project team to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
- Track and report issues related to overall change management process.
