JOB TITLE: Jr. Telecommunication Technician
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 6 month contract || USC or GC ONLY
LOCATION DETAILS: Woodbridge VA, onsite
ABOUT THE ROLE: Years of experience: At least 1-2 years of experience
Top 3-5 Technical Skills
- Knowledge of structured cabling; e.g. CAT6, T568B terminations, patch panels
- Supporting the Voice Engineering Team’s daily operations by monitoring the service request queue, prioritizing tickets, and dispatching when appropriate
- Provide on-site support for Cisco VoIP phone deployments
- Collaborate with senior technicians to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of IP Addressing and subnetting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
- Ability to climb a ladder
