We are seeking a Store Hardware Engineer to support critical testing, validation, and deployment efforts for in-store technology and equipment. This role will play a key part in the Point of Sale (POS) system rollout and the validation of store-level devices in a lab setting, ensuring high-quality performance and seamless integration across store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hardware validation and lab testing for a range of store equipment.
Support and manage the POS rollout and related store hardware initiatives.
Evaluate and troubleshoot devices including:
Handheld scanners and mobile devices
Printers and peripherals
Surveillance cameras
Other store tech infrastructure
Collaborate with engineering, QA, and deployment teams to ensure readiness for production environments.
Provide documentation and feedback on hardware functionality, performance issues, and potential improvements.
Participate in hardware lifecycle planning, including upgrades and replacements.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in hardware testing and validation within a retail or enterprise environment.
Hands-on expertise with POS systems and retail store technology.
Familiarity with lab-based testing setups and structured QA processes.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting large-scale retail environments or store technology rollouts.
