Position Description
The Project Associate is an entry-level role focused on supporting IT projects through technical and non-technical tasks. You will report directly to a Project Manager and support various projects across all business avenues. This position is perfect for someone looking to start in SMB IT.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate with clients on technical migrations, upgrades, and renewals.
- Prep and deliver new hardware for Technical Account Managers.
- Perform hardware maintenance and hardware refreshments for existing devices.
- Gather, manipulate, and present data with Microsoft Excel.
- Learn a wide variety of technical terms and technical responsibilities quickly.
- Follow checklists and SOPs with precision and diligence.
- Remotely connect to client machines to perform tasks.
- Manage private or sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Provide hands-on support on any miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
- Some combination of formal technical education, certification work, or light technical support experience.
- Beginner-level experience with PC hardware and standard peripherals.
- Beginner-level experience with Windows 10 and 11.
- Beginner-level experience with Microsoft Excel.
- You must have or obtain CompTIA A and Network certifications within 1 year of the hire date.

- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.

Work Location, Travel
- This position begins fully in-office. After a provisional period, hybrid opportunities will enable a successful candidate to work from home up to three days a week.
- This position may require travel to client sites, and mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS standard rate.
