We are looking for experienced subcontractors to join our team as Field Technicians specializing in Cat6 cabling installations within a commercial environment. If you are knowledgeable in telecommunications and network equipment, as well as willing to travel to various job sites daily, we want to hear from you!
Position Details:
- Type: Subcontracting (1099 position; no benefits provided)
- Location: You must be able to travel up to a 70-mile radius of your location. 5 to 20 miles in is the normal distance
- Hours: Expect between 20 to 35 hours of work per week
- Start Date: Immediate
Requirements:
- Experience: Extensive experience in commercial telecom equipment installations, specifically with Cat6 cabling. Familiarity with some fiber installations is a plus. No residential work experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of Network Equipment: A strong understanding of network equipment is essential. This includes proficiency in working with switches, routers, racks, access points (APs), and any other necessary network devices.
- Vehicle: A personal vehicle is mandatory. We do not supply company vehicles, so having your own transportation is essential.
- Tools: Technicians must possess their own tools necessary for cabling installations and troubleshooting calls.
- Travel: Willingness to travel daily to varying job sites, where tasks may include both small and large installations, as well as troubleshooting calls.
