Scrum Master/Agile Champion
Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
12 Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master who is hands-on in managing projects while driving Agile transformation across the business unit. As an Agile Champion, you will work closely with teams, stakeholders, and leadership to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and Agile adoption. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional facilitation skills, a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, and a results-driven mindset.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification is required.
- 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with proven experience driving Agile adoption at scale.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and best practices.
- Hands-on experience managing complex projects and delivering business-critical solutions.
- Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and build consensus.
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with metrics-driven reporting (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and how they align with Agile methodologies.
- Experience leading Agile transformations or scaling Agile in large organizations.
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) for multiple teams.
- Ensure teams adhere to Agile principles and practices, identifying and resolving impediments effectively.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and refine user stories.
- Track and report on sprint progress, metrics, and team performance to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and implementing actionable strategies.
- Act as a change agent, promoting Agile values and principles across the business unit.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and coaching to build Agile capabilities within teams and leadership.
- Advocate for the adoption of Agile tools and processes to enhance team efficiency and transparency.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align business objectives with Agile frameworks.
- Develop and execute an Agile transformation roadmap tailored to the business unit's needs.
Salary : $50 - $66
