Full Stack Web Developer
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Web Developer to join our team and play a critical role in modernizing our development and deployment processes. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in DevOps implementation who can help guide our team as we transition to Scrum. As part of our team, you will work on mission-critical applications supporting permitting, licensing, and compliance using Oracle databases, AMANDA (Granicus), Bootstrap front-end framework, SmartGuide (Alphinat), and Accela. Additionally, you will help us adopt GitHub for source code management and improve our manual deployment process. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Bootstrap, Java, JavaScript and web services.
- Lead the implementation of DevOps best practices, automating deployments and CI / CD workflows.
- Attend Scrum ceremonies and assist the team in transitioning to Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Guide the adoption of GitHub for version control and source code management.
- Work closely with teams using Jira for project tracking and Agile collaboration.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs to integrate with Oracle databases and third-party platforms like AMANDA (Granicus), and Accela.
- Ensure application security by implementing authentication, authorization, and best practices.
- Collaborate with UI / UX designers to develop user-friendly, responsive applications.
- Mentor team members and help improve software development processes.
