Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and professional individual to fill the role of Receptionist/Office Manager with an IT background. You will also assist with troubleshooting minor IT issues and coordinating with technical teams when necessary.
Primary Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
- Serve as the first point of contact by greeting clients and visitors warmly.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage the office calendar effectively.
- Maintain accurate and organized office records, documentation, and supplies.
Office Management:
- Ensure the office operates efficiently by overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office needs.
- Prepare and manage invoices, expense reports, and administrative budgets.
- Support onboarding for new hires, including setting up workstations and training.
IT Support:
- Troubleshoot minor IT issues, including software and hardware problems.
- Manage office IT tools such as ticketing systems, communication platforms, or file-sharing systems.
- Collaborate with the technical team for more advanced IT needs.
- Maintain security protocols for office IT equipment and data.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries in a professional manner.
- Act as the liaison between clients and the technical team when needed.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, basic networking, and common IT tools.
- Understanding of IT security best practices and data management.
