Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for the Adult Medicine Department.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, Practice Manager, and Director of Infectious Diseases.
- Support continuous improvement in clinical operations, provider workflow, patient satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Deliver direct clinical care alongside administrative oversight.
- Participate in department strategic goals and direction.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and quality focus.
- Willingness to deliver high-quality patient care efficiently.
- Experience providing care to underserved populations with complex needs.
- Relevant business experience in a large health center or private practice, ideally as a Director or Associate Director.
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, retention, and discipline of clinical staff.
- Familiarity with compliance issues related to clinical expertise.
- Experience supervising advanced practitioners (APRNs, PAs).
- Superior communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships with staff, patients, and external partners.
- Analytical skills to collect, analyze, and present data effectively.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems.
- Resourceful problem-solving attitude and accountability
- Graduation from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Physician License in the state of CT (Preferred)
