Role: Electrical Engineer (Xilinx FPGA Focus)
Location: Hudson, NH (Onsite/Full-Time)
Base Salary: $170k - $175k
Bonus: Up to 11%
Equity Stake: 10% of a year’s pay for each of the first two years, 7% for each subsequent year
Responsibilities:
- Support and update electronic designs (electrical & Xilinx FPGA firmware – design, compile, download & verify).
- Assemble, operate and test camera components including integrated detector/dewar/cooler assemblies, electronics, housings, telescopes and ancillary modules.
- Perform verification testing and identify methods to automate testing for cameras.
- Support the design and processing aspects of manufacturing, learning and applying new concepts as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with digital electronics and FPGAs.
- Experience with imaging systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in digital design tools such as OrCAD, Verilog and Xilinx Vivado.
- Familiarity with multi-meters, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a team environment with a strong sense of ownership of tasks.
Plusses:

Tasks & Projects:
- Maintenance and optimization of older Xilinx designs (done in Verilog).
- Support of a basic image processing board (Microblaze processor, complicated data path using Xilinx IP).
- Design and development of next-generation boards using larger focal plane arrays, requiring more analog channels and faster data processing.
- PCB design work and testing oriented support for manufacturing.
Salary : $170,000 - $175,000
