The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, a willingness to work in a dynamic and growing practice, and the ability to handle a busy patient load. We offer full-time or part-time options with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload starting at 15 patients per day, with the goal of increasing to 30-35 patients daily.
- Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, with the option to perform surgeries if desired.
- Collaborate with a full support team, including scribes, receptionists, and technicians.
- Engage in community outreach and education programs as needed.
- Maintain high standards for patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
- Board Certification: Required, flexible on specialties (excluding retina).
- Experience: Open to new graduates and those with extensive experience.
- Hospital Privileges: Necessary if performing surgeries; support provided for obtaining privileges.
- Call Schedule: Optional. If the candidate opts to operate, on-call rotation is 7 days per month. No on-call required for non-surgical roles.
- EMR System: Modernize Medicine (EMA) experience preferred but not required.
- Health Insurance: 70% paid by the employer, 30% by the employee (100% employee contribution for family coverage).
- Retirement: 401(k) with 3% employer match after 1 year of employment.
- Time Off: 1 week of sick leave, 2 weeks of PTO, and 1 week of CME.
