Qualifications

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS (required)

• 8 YEARS IN AEROSPACE/DEFENSE INDUSTRY
• PROGRAM MANAGEMENT EXP IN SUPPLY CHAIN
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or a Graduate Degree with 10 years of experience, or 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven expertise in supply chain program management within the aerospace/defense industry.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with contract types such as Fixed Price and Time & Materials is preferred.
• Ability to engage with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred Additional Skills

• Secret clearance preferred, but not required
• Experience in the following contract types: FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, Cost Reimbursement (w/fixed-fee, incentive fee or award fee)
• Experience as Cost Account Manager for Subcontracts managing budgets and sales forecasting
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to periodically travel to supplier facilities (mainly domestic locations)
  
  

Key Responsibilities

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

• Lead supply chain program management for Space and Airborne Systems in collaboration with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations.
• Utilize hands-on, cross-functional strategies to identify process pain points and implement improvements.
• Track program deliverables, assess key risks, and develop mitigation plans, providing regular status updates.
• Manage critical project milestones, ensuring suppliers can meet demands and optimizing material flow for inventory management.
• Provide technical support for design reviews and assess impacts on materials and supply chain.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency in product development and supply chain operations.
• Maintain and manage supplier relationships to meet program requirements and performance standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, suppliers, and program managers to support program objectives.
• Develop and monitor customized supply chain management metrics tailored to space programs.
• Communicate the company’s technical and programmatic value proposition effectively.
• Uphold high ethical standards and adhere to the company's Code of Conduct.
• Requires mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas. Viewed as an expert and/or resource within the field by peers in and outside the organization.
