The Sr. Manager, Government Sales is responsible for managing and directing the government sales strategy in collaboration with front-line Government sellers. This role involves leading and managing a team of 8 sellers, motivating and coaching them to achieve exceptional performance results.

Candidates can be from any of the nearby states—Washington DC; Pennsylvania; New Jersey; Connecticut; New York; Maryland; Delaware; or Virginia—as they are all about an hour’s drive or train ride from one another. Note that the role will require travel, which will primarily involve driving.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new Government business.
- Identify retention opportunities to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
- Lead and manage a team of 8 sellers.
- Motivate, coach, and guide the team to achieve strong performance results.
- Provide strategic leadership and support to ensure team success.
- Support additional non-selling and administrative functions as needed.
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by business management.
- Cold Calling: Reaching out to potential clients who haven’t contacted you yet.
- Turning Suspects into Prospects: Converting people who might be interested into actual potential customers.
- Understanding Pain Points: Figuring out what problems or needs the client has.
- Developing a Pipeline: Building a list of potential clients and tracking their progress.
- Creating an Accurate Forecast: Predicting future sales based on current data.
- Understanding Federal Procurement: Knowing how the federal government buys products or services (this is very important).
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- Experience:
2-4 years of sales management experience.

- Strong strategic leadership skills (Required).
- Proficiency in customer acquisition (Required).
- Total Target Cash Pay Range: $156,100 - $281,500 (inclusive of target incentives)
