IT Audit & Compliance Lead

Responsibilities:

• Create the framework, execute and maintain compliance programs for SOC 1 audit report.
• Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) interim and roll-forward processes, collaborating with external auditors.
• Assist carrier customers with state office insurance regulation audit requests.
• Work with management, development, and infrastructure teams to identify and address internal control weaknesses for SOC 1 and SOX audits.
• Oversee the creation of internal control checklists and establish a formal IT risk assessment program.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure and services.
• Strong understanding of control disciplines and financial services products.
• Proficiency in SQL Server.
• Experience using JIRA for project management.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or a related discipline (e.g., MIS, Accounting).
• Experience leading SOC 1/SOC 2 audit and compliance initiatives.
• 2-3 years of experience managing IT audit or compliance processes.
• Experience working with overseas IT operations is a plus.
