Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager
- 2 years of experience in Wealth or Investment Management Technology
- Hands-on experience with portfolio management platforms (Portfolio Accounting, Order Generation, Performance, Reporting, Market Security)
- Knowledge of portfolio management concepts, including positions, trades, and securities
- Proficiency in SQL for data queries and familiarity with APIs and FTP calls in a Microsoft environment
Job Duties
- Collaborate with Portfolio Accounting, Portfolio Analytics, Security Operations, Portfolio Implementation, and Trading teams to ensure system functionality
- Monitor production platforms for daily readiness and overall health
- Act as a liaison between internal business customers, technology teams, and application vendors
- Provide operational support and troubleshoot incidents for assigned applications
- Perform root cause analysis on incidents and recommend preventative solutions
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical system requirements with detailed documentation
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, contributing to enhancements and automation
- Analyze processes and recommend improvements through automation or restructuring
- Manage multiple requests while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines
