Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. There are 5 children in this class and they range in age from 1.5-2.5 years. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development and address any concerns.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Create an inclusive atmosphere that accommodates children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in preschool or daycare settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early learning standards.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Background in nannying or childcare can be beneficial.
