We are seeking a skilled WebSphere Commerce Server (WCS) Developer with expertise in KPM (Knowledge Process Management) to join our dynamic team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining eCommerce solutions using IBM's WebSphere Commerce platform while integrating with KPM systems to deliver scalable and robust commerce experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement eCommerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce Server (WCS).
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop customized modules, features, and integrations within the WCS platform.
Utilize KPM methodologies and tools to ensure effective process management in delivering solutions.
Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of eCommerce applications.
Integrate WCS solutions with third-party systems, payment gateways, and other enterprise applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, implementing bug fixes and performance optimizations.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in eCommerce and process management.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in WebSphere Commerce Server (WCS) development (Version 7 or higher preferred).
Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJBs, and Web Services.
Experience with KPM tools and methodologies for effective process management.
Proficiency in Spring Framework, Struts, and related frameworks.
Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP-based web services integration.
Understanding of eCommerce concepts like shopping cart, catalog, order management, and payment processing.
Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server) and SQL.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud-based deployments and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of microservices architecture.
