Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, guiding them through their early developmental stages while implementing engaging curricula.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
- Assess and monitor children's progress in various developmental areas including literacy, social skills, and emotional growth.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning community.
- Utilize Montessori methods or similar approaches to enhance children's learning experiences.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum materials and participate in standardized testing as required.
- Provide individualized support to children as needed, including tutoring for those who may require additional assistance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Familiarity with curriculum development techniques and literacy education strategies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching young children.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
