We’re expanding our hours and looking for an Afternoon and Evening Childcare Provider!

Do you have a calm and soothing personality who enjoys spending dinner time and bedtime with kids? Are you interested in being a key supporter of an evolving and new childcare program that strives to fit the childcare needs of many families that traditional daycares don’t accommodate? We’ve got some big dreams and are looking for individuals to join our team who are ambitious, energetic, and will champion our goals as our childcare grows.

We’re looking for an individual who will help us structure our evening childcare hours and to create a calming nighttime routine. The main purpose of this position will be to give our primary childcare provider and family a break from childcare duties with the exception of preparing dinner.

We have an immediate need for a part-time Evening Childcare Provider to join our in-home childcare Village in the Mansfield/ Lexington area for as-needed evenings. Hours could range from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm for 6-20 hours a week, depending on our weekly childcare schedule. You’ll get more hours and pay increases as we add on more families and depending upon your performance. Unfortunately, no benefits are available at this time.

Great candidates will possess the following skills:

• Raised, assisted in raising children, or has worked with children up to 5 years old
• Previously worked in a childcare setting
• Isn’t afraid of changing diapers and providing other basic childcare needs
• Assisted with potty training
• Self-motivated
• Actively engages with children
• Communication with parents
• Experience with daycare communication apps such as Brightwheel

Candidates must:

• Be 18 or older
• Pass a background check
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Their own reliable transportation- including in the winter
• No vaping or smoking of cigarettes
