Role:
It Takes A Village Family of Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pre-School Teacher to join our early childhood centers; creating a safe and stimulating environment conducive to learning and exploration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our children and contribute to developing curricula and activities that support developmental milestones.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.

Maintain a well-organized and inviting classroom environment conducive to learning, including arranging furniture, creating learning centers, and displaying children's work.

Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor each child's progress and development, and communicate results to parents and administrators.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by implementing proper health and safety protocols, conducting regular safety checks, and responding promptly to emergencies.

Stay informed about current trends and best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development and participation in workshops and conferences.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

State certification or licensure for early childhood education.

Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.

Knowledge of early childhood development theories and best practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
