What You'll Do:
- Support the design, configuration, and installation of network systems and related infrastructure.
- Assist in troubleshooting network and system issues, working with senior engineers to resolve challenges.
- Collaborate with the team on technical solutions, providing assistance in both hardware and software configurations.
- Help develop technical documentation and assist with the deployment and installation of network equipment and systems.
- Participate in routine maintenance and upgrades of network systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar technical role.
- An active TS/SCI clearance (required).
- Familiarity with basic network protocols and concepts such as VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with operating systems like Windows, Linux, or similar environments.
- A willingness to learn and develop technical skills in network systems and engineering.
- Basic understanding of LAN switching and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with network security tools (e.g., Cisco ASA, FirePower).
- Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Understanding of identity management (e.g., Active Directory).
- Familiarity with operating system patching and upgrades.
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification is required
