What You'll Do:
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with talented team members while maintaining the autonomy to lead key projects.
- Engage with senior staff and clients, providing insight into technical solutions that shape national security.
- Design, configure, and implement cutting-edge network solutions, tackling challenges from system architecture to troubleshooting complex issues.
- Create technical documentation, develop Bill of Materials, and ensure seamless installation and configuration of network equipment and software.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems. (Alternatively, 4 years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree.)
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with configuring, installing, and troubleshooting commercial networking equipment.
- Expertise in Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), specifically the Mobile Access Capability Package (MA CP). This should be “desired”.
- Active TS/SCI clearance (required).
Key Technical Skills (Must be proficient in at least 3):
- OS patches and upgrades
- Physical media (Cat5/5e/6/6a, fiber optics)
- LAN switching, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.)
- VPN, DNS, DHCP
- Network security tools (Cisco ASA, FirePower, etc.)
- Wireless standards (802.11) and RF fundamentals
- Virtualization (VMWare, Citrix, HyperV, Nutanix)
- Identity management (Active Directory, LDAP, RSA)
- PKI
Certifications:
- Required: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIP-ENT or similar network certification
- Preferred: Wireless certifications such as CWNA, ACMX, CCNA Wireless
- Must be able to acquire and maintain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
