Job Description :
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will install, maintain, program, and repair low-voltage systems, including radio, telephone, alarm, surveillance, and fire alarm systems. This role requires technical expertise, a customer-focused approach, and a commitment to completing projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities :
- Program, install, and repair low-voltage systems, including commercial phone systems, intrusion alarms, surveillance systems, and fire alarms.
- Perform assigned projects in accordance with specifications and ensure timely, high-quality installations.
- Communicate effectively with clients during installations, addressing questions and providing updates as needed.
- Maintain positive on-site relationships with customers and subcontractors, ensuring deadlines and project requirements are met.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams in person and via phone.
- Assist with various company divisions and support broader organizational initiatives.
- Utilize test equipment, including VOM, DB meters, battery analyzers, and other trade-related tools, for diagnostics and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local and state laws governing low-voltage system work.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
