What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Visual Warehouse Manager position at ITA Audio Visual Solutions?
Warehouse
- Ensure all storage systems and work areas are clean, organized and readily accessible
- Refine and optimize use of all processing and storage areas
AV Inventory
- Is correctly pulled for delivery or transfer
- Is properly entered on WO and tracked using R2
- Is checked-in (QC) after every use
- All losses or damage are immediately reported to management and resolved
- All inventoried AV is in “like new” condition
- Is periodically accounted for and all discrepancies are investigated and resolved
- Schedule and dispatch deliveries and pick-ups of all rental orders
- AV is properly entered and maintained in Great Plains and R2
- All AV is properly labelled
Delivery Vehicles
- All vehicles are clean, properly outfitted, fueled and in good working order
- Manages all phases of sublet maintenance and truck rentals when needed
Staff and Other Duties
- Interview, evaluate and recommend staff for hire.
- Lead, motivate and manage staff to achieve your duties & responsibilities.
- Successfully delivery and pick-up AV when and where needed.
- Professionally handle and maintain all AV
- Keep all vehicles clean, properly outfitted, fueled and in good working order
- Successfully delivery and pick-up AV when and where needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or technical school required. Three to five years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and handle tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, knell, crouch, and crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. Employee must regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs; frequently lift and/or move 100 lbs; and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.
