OVERVIEW : To ensure the highest standards of service to client while maintaining operational efficiency, intradepartmental communication, and cohesive relationships within the company.
ROLE : The Production Manager is the manager responsible, directly or indirectly through subordinates, for the successful delivery of ITA products and services to customers through the efficient use of ITA’s resources - people, capital, facilities and time. ITA Managers are working supervisors. This is a hands-on position that includes, but is not limited to, the following
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Interviewing, selecting, training, appraising and coaching employees.
Planning and directing the work of technicians.Resolving employee situations or client challenges.Manage staff development and mastery of the Event Technology.
Oversight of meeting and special events.Scheduling to ensure business requirements are accommodated.Ensure staffs’ expertise using AV on field assignments exceeds proficiency.Ensure staffUnderstand and execute their duties and responsibilities
Professionally represent the companyAre properly groomed and attiredSilence and do not use mobile devices during meetings and eventsAre not under the influence of banned substance on the jobDo not take breaks, smoke, consume food or beverages while workingAre cross trained and rotated on events to avoid client reliance on one or more team membersControl ExpensesAsset oversight – AV is handled with care, functions properly and returns to WH in good order.
Control ITA labor costs and minimize use of On-Call techniciansMinimize sublet products / services and repair costs by properly handling and maintaining ITA assetsVisit high profile / value events to quality controlPromote goodwill and assure clients by managing their expectations before, during and after events
Sales and internal support includingTechnical training and assistance
Field assignments, site surveys and phone supportStimulate ITA / client interaction by suggesting creative ways to enhance their events.Identifying & referring new business opportunitiesAssessing needs and developing R2 proposals to specificationRequired resources

The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stop, kneel, crouch and crawl. From time to time, the employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. Employee must regularly lift and / or move 50 lbs; frequently (less than 20% of the time) lift and / or move 100 lbs. Additional physical job requirements :
Must be able to repeatedly lift and move objects weighing in excess of 50 lbs.Must be able to regularly use & work safely on ladders at heights of 12-16’.Must be able and willing to safely operate company owned and leased vehicles, or own on company time.Crawl, kneel, able to get off floor, without assistance.Able to read instructions, computer screen – may use corrective lenses.Climb stairs, walk without assistance.
