POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Solution Architecture leads the Product Solution Architecture team to envision, evaluate and facilitate the design of product solutions for ITA Group. Aligned to the enterprise vision and approach, the Manager, Solution Architecture works closely with Product Management and Product Development teams to provide technical direction and designs related to the evaluation and analysis of approaches and technologies necessary to advance the business needs of ITA Group and our clients.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Manager, Solution Architecture should have advanced and diverse skills and knowledge from the following architecture areas:
- Enterprise, Cloud, Solution, Application, Security, Data, and Systems,
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related major, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum ten years of experience in the design, development and support of products developed for consumer applications.
- Proven skills in architectural design, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical thinking.
- Experience in the architectural design and development of significantly complex applications incorporating multiple technologies.
- Ability to quickly understand and document how existing applications are built and make recommendations for improvement.
- Leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated writing and diagramming skills necessary to produce architectural[JK1] documentation and relay technical designs to technology and non-technology audiences.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and external 3rd parties as needed.
- Experience training, mentoring or coaching others.
- Ability to resolve conflicts, influence and build consensus among business and development partners around solution designs.
- Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture, business processes, and basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
- Exposure or certification in TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman or other software architecture frameworks.
