Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and general maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and repairs
- Perform troubleshooting to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Welding tasks as needed
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance work with contractors when necessary
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics
- Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Experience with welding tasks
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical testing
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with residents
- Previous experience in residential painting is a plus
- Leadership skills for supervising maintenance projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22 per hour
Expected hours: 40-50 hours per week
