We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to lead our environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The Safety Manager will develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a culture of safety across all operations.

Compensation : $95-110k / annually
What you'll be doing :
Ensure compliance with environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other applicable standards.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement strategies to mitigate occupational injuries or illnesses.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees and management, tailored to meet organizational needs.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure environmental stewardship, including air quality management, hazardous materials handling, and waste management.
Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in EHS regulations and standards.
Serve as the primary contact for audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions related to safety and environmental compliance.
What you'll need to be considered :
7-10 years of experience in safety regulations, compliance standards, and training within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations.
Proven experience conducting risk assessments and implementing measures to address workplace hazards.
Demonstrated ability to investigate accidents and incidents and develop safety programs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
