Warehouse / Shipping Manager

Are you ready to take charge of a fast-paced warehouse environment and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations? Our client is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Warehouse / Shipping Manager to oversee receiving, shipping, and inventory processes while managing a small team of warehouse associates. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact by optimizing operations and contributing to customer satisfaction.

  • Early morning weekday schedule - start your day at 6 : 45 AM and finish by 5 : 00 PM.

Compensation

  • 55,000 per year.

    • What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervising and training 1-2 warehouse associates, managing schedules and performance.
  • Overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy with cycle counting and addressing discrepancies.
  • Optimizing warehouse layout and ensuring organized storage and product rotation.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, secure, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Attending meetings and conducting team briefings to report concerns and share updates.

    • What You'll Need to be Considered

  • Previous experience in warehouse or shipping management is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, DOT) and material-handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management software (e.g., QuickBooks and basic MS Office skills.)
  • A positive and reliable attitude with a focus on fostering a productive work environment.
