Job Description:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with customers of the logistics warehouse. You will work closely with the outside sales team, warehouse staff, and management to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential new customers through various sources, including online research and referrals.
- Make outbound sales calls to potential customers to introduce the warehouse services and products, answer questions, and schedule appointments for site visits.
- Respond to incoming sales inquiries and follow up with customers to provide information, answer questions, and close sales.
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers and negotiate pricing and terms to close deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers by providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery of products and services and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, including call volume, sales conversion rates, and customer satisfaction ratings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to improve product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate with internal teams.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
