Role Overview
Our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a strong passion for sales and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in account management and business development, with a keen interest in payments consultancy services. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring satisfaction post-onboarding. The successful candidate will play a key role within the Commercial Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively research, identify, and engage with potential clients to uncover new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to effectively promote and sell the company’s current and future service offerings.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for further collaboration.
- Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, collaborating with internal teams to successfully convert leads into long-term customers.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining positive business relationships.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Maintain and grow a strong network within the iGaming sector while staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Design and implement a structured client feedback and satisfaction survey to measure and improve service delivery.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to assess sales performance, client engagement, and market trends, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Provide detailed reports and insights to the Chief Commercial Officer on business development progress, client feedback, and overall market opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align business strategies and achieve growth targets.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in payment solutions, particularly PaymentIQ, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the payments or fintech industry.
- Experience and knowledge of PaymentIQ or similar payment platforms is a strong advantage.
- Excellent relationship management skills with a customer-centric approach to sales and service delivery.
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into sales strategies.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
