Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled Content Team Manager to lead content creation efforts with an "Adopt, Adapt, Create" approach. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive SEO content strategy in collaboration with the SEO team and external content partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for optimising digital content to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute a robust SEO content strategy in partnership with the SEO team and outsourced content providers.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyse digital performance trends and SEO KPIs, providing clear and concise reports to senior stakeholders across the organization.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Make informed decisions based on performance metrics, continually learning, iterating, and adapting to evolving landscapes.
- Competitive Analysis & Research: Conduct competitive analysis, technical audits, and keyword research to identify emerging trends and actionable insights for integration into strategies.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the on-site technical SEO expert, ensuring websites achieve best-in-class performance in SEO, load times, and core web vitals.
- Off-Page Optimisation: Oversee off-page SEO projects, including link-building initiatives, to strengthen the organization's online presence.
- Data Collection & Monitoring: Gather and report data on traffic, rankings, domain authority, site performance, and other SEO metrics.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of algorithm updates, integrated marketing best practices, and emerging trends, such as featured snippets, voice search, and Google's latest experience requirements.
- SEO Best Practices: Act as a knowledge resource, proactively sharing SEO best practices across the organization.
- SEO Experimentation: Design and implement SEO experiments, ensuring minimal disruption to performance while driving continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in programming/creating content and developing strategy for large digital products
- Acute attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the company's brand identity
- Strong writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to execute editorial judgment
- Knowledge of HTML, JS, CDN, Google AMP, and Content Management Systems
- Ability to work towards deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a precise and detail-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders
