Our client is a leading marketing company specializing in the iGaming industry, delivering innovative and engaging gaming experiences. As a key player in the sector, they are committed to providing customers with a cutting-edge platform and are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Acquisition to drive their player acquisition strategy and expand their global customer base.

The Head of Acquisition will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive acquisition strategies, focusing on driving profitable growth across various markets. This role will oversee all aspects of acquisition marketing, including paid media, affiliate marketing, social media, and the onboarding journey. The successful candidate will be instrumental in scaling the player base and optimizing the user journey from acquisition to retention.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and optimize player acquisition strategies, with a focus on attracting high-value players in a competitive iGaming landscape.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of acquisition specialists, including advertising managers, affiliate marketers, social media experts, and data analysts.
  • Oversee and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across performance channels such as PPC, social media, email marketing, and affiliate networks.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with affiliates, media partners, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and drive high-quality traffic.
  • Collaborate closely with the product, retention, and CRM teams to ensure a seamless and optimized player journey from initial acquisition to long-term retention.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and reporting to identify key trends, optimize campaigns, and improve cost-per-acquisition (CPA), return on investment (ROI), and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Continuously test and experiment with new acquisition strategies and channels, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Manage the budget for player acquisition, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while maximizing performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), report regularly on campaign performance, and adjust strategies to meet aggressive growth targets.
  • Stay informed on the latest iGaming marketing trends, competitor activities, and new marketing technologies to refine acquisition strategies.

Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital acquisition marketing, preferably within the iGaming industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in driving performance marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including paid search, social media, programmatic advertising, and affiliate marketing.
  • A solid understanding of key iGaming metrics and KPIs, such as Cost per Acquisition (CPA), Conversion Rate, and Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • An analytical mindset with experience using data and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, BI platforms) to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across marketing, product, analytics, and sales teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (a master’s degree is preferred).
