Our client is a globally successful group that has been a leading international provider of sports betting for over 30 years. As a modern online entertainment company, they offer a comprehensive range of sports betting services, casino, live casino, and a variety of exciting games. To strengthen their team, they are seeking a Payment Strategist to oversee and optimize their payment operations.
Responsibilities
- Enforce and maintain a group-wide payment strategy to ensure highly efficient corporate and B2C payment flows.
- Implement payment service providers, credit card processors, e-wallets, EMIs, and traditional banking solutions while maintaining business relationships with these third parties, including negotiating terms and conditions.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the Group's transactions and cash flows.
- Set up and manage payment transaction reports, assist with audits, and liaise with financial authorities when necessary.
- Identify, propose, and establish business relationships with payment suppliers.
- Oversee the administration of payment contracts.
- Advise stakeholders and C-level management on payment methods, cost structures, and operational performance in local markets, including acceptance rates, fees, and chargebacks.
- Analyze the financial landscape and monitor competitors in the area of payment services.
- Track and evaluate payment-related KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the finance department, treasury management, business development teams, and external consultants.
- Implement and manage QA processes related to payment operations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in payment strategy, finance, or banking within the gaming industry.
- A strong network for managing PSPs, credit card processors, gateways, and banking relationships.
- Comprehensive understanding of the sports betting and casino business, including customer payment behaviors.
- Excellent communication and editorial skills.
