Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including managing staff and ensuring excellent customer service
- Train and supervise front of house staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements for both regular dining and banquet events
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as coffee, utensils, and condiments, and place orders as needed
- Use Aloha POS system to process payments accurately and efficiently
Experience:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and understanding of food safety regulations
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
