Full Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively participate in daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Coordinate packing and shipping of all goods Maintain inventory of incoming, stored, and outgoing goods, as well as current space available.
Ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
Place merchandise in the warehouse by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.
Inspect all stock for damage and keeping records of damages.
Oversee preparation, packing and execution of orders. Contact carrier representative to obtain quotes, plan, and issue documentation for truck shipments
Resolve discrepancies between orders and goods, such as delays, condition, weight, quality, etc.
Go over Open Sales Order report daily
Reviewing route sheets to establish your daily delivery quotas, proposing alterations to route sheets where applicable.
Ensure safe daily return of drivers and finalizing work in the warehouse and preparation of next-day orders.
Create a strong team with team spirit and family environment
Work with other departments as needed.
Experience Requirements:
Valid US drivers’ license
Valid US legal status
Fluent in English and Spanish, Italian a plus
2-5 years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics
Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate schedules, and oversee operational workflows.
Experience with financial management software such as QuickBooks
Organizational skills, excellent ability to plan, prioritize and manage resources effectively.
Quick decision-making skills under pressure
Clear direct proactive communication with team members, upper management and external parties.
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery
Understanding of workplace safety protocols and compliance procedures
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends
