Duties & Responsibilities
• Approval and maintenance of costumer credit limits, analyzing financial information to determine risks involved
• Prepare all Credit documentation for clients, ensuring proper legal documentation is in place
• Structuring and approval of new credit transactions
• Collateral Monitoring: prepare and review daily report for distribution to credit department and Sales Force
• Work closely with Sales Force on investigations, resolutions, and status updates to ensure that the overdrafts and margin calls are monitored and controlled
• Helps on internal and external Audits
• Maintain orderliness and control credit files
• Elaborate and Distribute all Credit Reports
• Responsible for approving internal transfers / visa control and trades
Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act related principles, laws, rules and regulations, as well as Itau’s related policies and procedures.
· Project Management for Credit Products
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree. MBA is desirable.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Credit and 3 years in the Financial Industry
• Knowledge of credit products, fiduciary products and market, securities characteristics
• Microsoft Office programs, advanced Excel proficiency required
• Bloomberg
• Temenos / T24 knowledge is desirable
• Organized self-starter person that can effectively perform in a fast paced, dynamic, multi-operating system, multi-company environment
• Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is desirable
· Experience in Private Bank is a plus
