Position : USASAC Analyst III

Overview : The United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) oversees the Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiative and serves as the Executive Agent for the Army Security Assistance Program. As a Major Subordinate Command under the U.S. Army Materiel Command, USASAC operates across multiple locations. This contract provides Programmatic Support Services for Security Assistance (SA), FMS, and international programs, supporting U.S. Army-managed weapon systems and associated equipment throughout the entire FMS Life Cycle, from Case Development to Case Closure. The successful candidate will assist USASAC by conducting research, providing recommendations, and analyzing FMS case development and execution to meet customer requirements. This role requires experience with security assistance management procedures, weapon systems, technical coordination, cost and schedule management, and risk mitigation to ensure the timely delivery of operational and supportable systems.

Responsibilities :

Based upon broad knowledge of the organization and its mission; reviews studies, reports and other correspondence to ensure data and conclusions are fully integrated with organizational programs, goals and strategies.
Analyzes patterns in order to make meaningful recommendations that will enhance efficiency, inform decision making and help shape strategies for organizational improvement.
Assists Level I and Level II Analysts as needed to define and analyze problems and make recommendations.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

A minimum of six (6) years of experience in the functional area for which expertise is required.

Possesses depth and breadth of knowledge about the organization's structure and mission.

Is knowledgeable of industry trends and best practices for improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Possesses broad experience in a variety of disciplines for which functional expertise is required.

Bachelor's Degree in such disciplines as Operations Research, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Business / Finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resource Management, Education, Social Science, Strategic Studies, Foreign Policy, International Studies, Political Science, Liberal Arts, or other related discipline from an accredited training institution with a curriculum or major field of study which provides substantial knowledge closely related to the task.

Active Interim Secret Clearance or above is required at the time of hire.
