POSITION TITLE: General Administrative Clerk III
GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DHS US Customs & Border Protection (CBP)
POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position
LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN - ONSITE
POSITION TIMING: Position requires a CBP Government security clearance which can take 2-3 months to process and must be complete prior to candidate starting work.
SALARY: $20.51/hr. You also receive an additional $5.36 per hour Health & Welfare used towards ITC's benefits plan. If not used towards benefits, H&W is deposited in a 401(k) account on the employee's behalf

The Revenue Division provides overall direction involving financial systems, processes, and procedures related to CBP revenue operations. It collects, deposits, and refunds collections and receivables. It also manages processes, coordinates related activities with CBP field operations, and monitors internal control issues pertaining to programs in support of CBP responsibility to safeguard the revenue.
Responsibilities
- Processing and issuance of User Fee Decals and Transponders
- Performs diverse secretarial and administrative duties
- Initiating special reports, composing routine correspondence, and compiling statistical and budget information, and providing communication
- Sort and scan incoming mail
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of education above high school from an accredited college or university, required; preferred field of study is business, management, finance or accounting
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- 2 years of administrative or secretarial/office management support
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Ability to follow oral and written directions to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to perform problem-solving techniques and demonstrate analytical skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and work well with others
- Demonstrate proficiency with Word, Excel and at least one (1) e-mail software application, preferably Outlook
- Bi-lingual in Spanish, desired
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standard office environment; ability to lift 25 pounds.
