The ITC Accounting intern performs a variety of activities including assisting in preparation of financial reports, assisting with SEC and FERC disclosures, performing fixed asset accounting activities, participating in meetings, working on special projects and providing research as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collection of data and preparation of financial reports
- Assisting in SEC and FERC disclosure matters
- Works with fixed assets team to track and capitalize assets
- Assist with month-end reporting
- Excel spreadsheet preparation and analysis
- Participating in meetings
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3.0 GPA, Finance or Accounting Major
- Comfortable with MS Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- This program is a 12 week program during the summer, with 40 hour work weeks.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. ITC does not sponsor employment visas, such as H-1B or TN visas.
