ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development of communications materials such as intranet and newsletter articles, collateral/brochures and presentation materials
- Support content development for digital communications such as website/intranet, social media, blog posts and video
- Support media relations efforts by researching and providing analysis of media outlets and reporters, updating media contact lists, and monitoring media coverage of industry issues
- Provide event support for internal and external-facing events such as employee meetings, lunch & learns, customer meetings, open houses, etc.
- Maintain library of audio/video footage and photography
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3.0 GPA, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations major
- Intermediate knowledge of AP Style Guide.
- Basic knowledge of social media products and publishing (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube).
- Comfortable with MS Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative suite of products (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator).
- This program is a 12-week program during the summer, with 40-hour work week.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. ITC does not sponsor employment visas, such as H-1B or TN visas.
