SUMMARY
Responsible for shaping our company culture, driving organizational success and championing initiatives to develop and engage employees. Leads the culture and engagement efforts for the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proposes, designs and implements organization-wide employee engagement & retention strategy, processes and interventions across the organization.
- Partners with Human Resources and leadership to model company core values and foster an environment where all employees are engaged and inspired to contribute their best.
- Plans and executes key HR initiatives across the organization with a focus on change management, employee experience and belonging.
- Manages the Engagement survey program across the organization.
- Oversees the communications for the HR team to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
- Collaborates with Communications team on the execution of content for strategic communication campaigns to promote company values, strengthen employee engagement and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Creates, owns and integrates Employment Value Proposition into our culture.
- Manages and leads company-wide culture initiatives in coordination with the HR business partners and senior leaders.
- Manages the belonging program and its integration across the organization.
- Collaborates with HR business partners and leaders in reviewing and updating policies to eliminate biases and barriers to engagement; proposes changes to facilitate our strategy.
- Manages the change management efforts organization wide.
- Manages the HR project integration function, ensuring detailed planning for HR projects and initiatives.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, leadership and other departments, to ensure alignment of employee experience initiatives with core values.
- Manages the Human Resources department-wide communications annual planning and execution.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- Selects and manages outside resources and associated vendor negotiations and agreements.
- Ensures the full and effective utilization of tools and resources.
- Establishes and maintains effectiveness metrics; assists with revising programs based on metrics and ensures follow-up is completed when necessary.
- Manages, leads, motivates and develops Culture and Belonging team members for success.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Training and Development or related field or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
- Master's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources in a professional capacity with experience in leading large organizational wide programs.
- Minimum of three (3) years, with a preferred (5) years in a management/supervisory role developing a team.
- HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) and/or learning certifications are preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively manage change initiatives.
- Ability to implement a full range of strategies and concepts quickly, concisely and methodically.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with leadership and colleagues, both internal and external to the company.
- Capable of effectively interacting with all levels of staff.
- Strong leadership skills along with the ability to exhibit creativity and innovation.
- Sound business judgment and the ability to think quickly.
- Ability to understand a variety of systems and procedures.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and work independently.
- Ability to manage and execute effectively and independently.
